Mr. Belliveau has 33 years experience in mechanical engineering of equipment and systems for institutional, commercial and industrial buildings and plants. He is currently President of A. H. Roy & Associates Ltd.
Since joining A. H. Roy & Associates Limited in 1972, Mr. Belliveau has been engaged on a number of industrial projects including a rubber tire manufacturing plant, pulp and paper mill and plate and joist fabrication facility in which he was responsible for design and co-ordination of mechanical systems. He has also been responsible, in his capacity as chief mechanical engineer, for the design and supervision during construction of mechanical systems for many new large schools, hospitals and universities and renovations. Many of these facilities were complete with Boiler Plants ranging in size from 100 BHP to 1000 BHP. Plants that used hot water to high pressure steam.
Prior to joining A. H. Roy & Associates Limited, Mr. Belliveau was engaged with the Canadian Department of Public Works on the design of an ocean terminal, oil pipe line supply and delivery system, for an oil refinery on the east coast of Canada.
The most recent work experience related to this project includes the Dr. J.H. Gillis Regional School, Antigonish, which included a conversion to hot water heating and replacement of existing ventilation systems. The work was done without the loss of any school year. In addition a number of similar facilities includes the Springhill Med. Security Institution: Principal entrance addition and renovation, Building 13 Kitchen Renovations, Fenbrook Unit, Sydney Academy, Bible Hill School, St. Andrew Jr. High School to name a few.
