Accommodating Nothern Nova Scotia's need for more Nursing care beds, the established R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home completed construction of a 24 bed addition in the summer of 2011. A. H. Roy utilized their mechanical and electrical expertise for the design and on-site consultation of the necessary facility. R. K. MacDonald's 24 bed addition contains the latest in security care systems, and has become the bench mark for nursing home care in the region.
